It has been a minute. Happy to be back writing consistently.

Doing other creative things brought me back home. Sometimes you have to step a way for a moment. Rejuvenate. Being involved in a variety of unrelated creative endeavors, often helps with the getting those words on paper.

Well, after about 18 months of stress, saving coins in a jar and making other sacrifices, I have finally published my first book “From Shattered Spirits to Resurrected Souls.”

Perhaps one day, I will be picked up by a major publisher. In the meantime, I am trying to publish one or two books a year on my own.

I am currently writing 6 other books and a movie script.

The Mailman Blues – A children’s book. This is written, I just need an illustrator.

Your Daily Edge – A daily inspirational book that includes my quotes, words of wisdom, short stories. Basically done. I just need to finish taking photographs that I wish to include.

Empower One, Empower Many – Inspirational/Motivational book. Mini biographies about entrepreneurs and others who have conquered many challenges. Most of the people I am interviewing are local. One inspiriting fellow is from the projects of Boston but currently lives in Iceland. I will be interviewing and filming folks over the next year.

Labyrinth- 2nd poetry book- Poems are written. Process of choosing poems to include and the order.

Trail of Carnage – Murder mystery. In the character and plot development stage.

(untitled) – A Western. In the research stage.

Edge – Movie script (drama, suspense)

There is something I’ve wanted to do for others, for some time. It intensified as I walked and stumbled through the publishing journey. I recently communicated my wishes to Ms. Shalana Satterwhite, CEO of Greater is He Publishing. I am so grateful that she not only listened, but provided a more simplified way to accomplish my goal. She also took some of the burden off of my shoulders. I will be forever grateful. Greater Is He Publishing has been a blessing to me. In turn, I can be a blessing to someone else.

As of May 2015, I will be able to help publish a book for a well deserving writer. The author will only need to pay for their printed book order. Greater is He Publishing has agreed to publish a book of my choosing, once a year. You retain the rights to your book. Your only task is to provide me with a completed manuscript to review. Editing, book formatting and layout will be done for you by a professional. There may be other considerations to assist you, at no cost.

The submission period is from May 14 to December 14 each year. January 1, the announcement will be made regarding the book to be published. I would rather not say that the winner is chosen. Completing a book is not easy. In my eyes, if you have the desire and you have taken the time to finish a book, you are a winner. I am working on other opportunities for those who are not chosen for publication, at that time. Details will be provided.
