Hello! Allow me to introduce Sean Carroll. Sean is a Canton resident who you might know from his page, The Dirty330. Sean's hobbies include targeting local businesses and business people, talking about them on social media until he gets sued, and then asking the public for money because he can't afford the legal fees...then continuing to talk about people on social media.
Since Sean is so passionate about staying vigilant and letting the truth come out, I thought I would give him the same courtesy.
Sean Carroll is interested in one thing: money he doesn't have to work for. That's why he was selling Dirty 330 T-shirts for 25 bucks a pop, claiming the funds were to be used for the legal defense of the alleged victims of James House. These alleged victims have never spoken out, filed any recent charges, made social media posts, nothing. There are commenters who have claimed to not like James House, which does not constitute a crime.
Sean states that he is willing to do this to get justice for these victims. However, in a recent video uploaded to his page, Sean said he was willing to discuss a settlement with James House, and met with James to discuss these things for hours. My question is, if this is about justice and the truth coming to light, why would a settlement even be an option for Sean? He has gone on and on about how these people he hates are all about money, all about doing anything to get a buck. But Sean is willing to discuss a settlement? That seems to go against everything he claims to stand for. Almost like this has always been about money.
Speaking of money, Sean really needs some. Like, $50k. He started a GoFundMe to raise money for his legal defense against James House. Yet he continues to post about James and the court proceedings, and continues to make allegations against James. That could result in further legal action against Sean, which he cannot afford and needs donations for, but he does it anyway. Sean has made himself the victim of a circumstance that started - and now continues - because of HIS OWN ACTIONS. But he needs your money to pay for it.
Finally, this is not new information, but is perhaps the most pertinent. Sean was arrested at Meijer in Jackson just a year ago for shoplifting $200 of merchandise. The report mentions that loss prevention agents at the store started following him because of previous incidents of theft.
I don't know about you, but I don't tend to believe people who steal, especially frequently enough to be recognized by store security. Sean is a grifter, plain and simple. His interest is not justice, his interest is money.
And no, I am not James House or any of the people Sean regularly whines about online. I'm a person in the community who is sick and tired of this guy crying wolf every time he tries to scam people. I am tired of this man tearing down local businesses and influencing others to vandalize these businesses and harass their employees. I am tired of him deleting comments or posts about HIS mistakes and crimes while he shouts other people's past from the rooftops. Any time someone brings up Sean's crimes or cons on his page, he deletes the comments and blocks the commenter. I am tired of him being the king of rage baiting and misinformation. Let's not forget how his page started - driving around Akron taking pictures of people he deemed as "trashy"...usually black women. There is a reason why his logo includes the hand of a puppet master. He loves to pull the strings!
Our goal is not for you to dislike Sean. Whether you believe him or not is up to you. But please, do not donate any more money to this man. If you want to help your community there are several other charities, non profits, and GoFundMe pages that could use your help. Don't give your money to a known thief.
Posting about people's pasts while actively committing crimes? That isn't very "the truth will come out" of you, Sean.
