APH Radio is a nonprofit radio station whose #1 goal is to give back to the communities in Shelby County Alabama. We want to give our local businesses an underwriting voice, keep their advertising dollars in our local community and most importantly, return a vast portion of our net profits back to the communities in the form of funding charities, ministries and civic organizations.
(62)

Started by local entrepreneurs, APH Radio plays an all-hits format from varying genres. Our format goal is for our listeners to always hear a song they know. We also plan to highlight local artists through weekend variety shows produced and hosted by local musicians. We will also play Sunday morning programming from local churches as well as airing live sporting events from our high schools. We cater to our area businesses looking for an alternative to traditional advertising to bring in customers. APH Radio gives local businesses underwriting opportunities that bring in listeners that will actually patronize their business. But above all of this, our primary mission is to give our net-profts back to the communities we severe, Through charitable giving to ministries, other charities and civic organizations, we hope to make Shelby County Alabama an even better place to live, work and fellowship. And we give all the Glory to God!

Mission: Our mission is to give back to the communities of Shelby County Alabama through annual donations to charities, ministries, civic organizations and city projects.

Heartbroken #RIPKobe our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Man...I can’t believe the news. I am heartbroken for his family. This is such a tragedy and I can’t believe it. I respect what he brought to the game even as a life long Chicago Bulls fan he was talented beyond belief and it was a joy to watch what he did for the game. Gone way too soon! Thank you for everything you are missed! My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this horrible time. #RIPKobe #RIPKobeBryant #RIPMomba

Very sad news from the music world!
#RIPNeilPeart

It is with broken hearts and the deepest sadness that we must share the terrible news that on Tuesday our friend, soul brother and band mate of over 45 years, Neil, has lost his incredibly brave three and a half year battle with brain cancer (Glioblastoma). We ask that friends, fans, and media alike understandably respect the family’s need for privacy and peace at this extremely painful and difficult time. Those wishing to express their condolences can choose a cancer research group or charity of their choice and make a donation in Neil Peart's name.

Rest in peace brother.
