This was a full week. Projects wrapping up, getting in the last few meetings before holiday break, and doing some 2026 planning. I’m grateful for what I’ve learned this year, who I’ve met, and what has fallen into place. 📸

I turned 40 last month, and I took a day to myself to think about where I'm headed in life, what I want to both bring in and remove in this revolution around the sun.

For years, I've been running Digitally Grounded with this whole side of myself hidden. The creative side everyone sees—websites, SEO, and design, but there's another part I've kept behind the scenes.

I'm a polymath. I do the creative work AND the project management that keeps agency projects profitable and on track.

My first clients back in 2020? They were agencies. A PR firm and a website agency who needed someone who understood both sides of the business. Someone who understood the creative vision and the operational reality of keeping projects from bleeding budgets.

In 2026, I'm done splitting myself in two.

I'm integrating both sides publicly: the creative work for service businesses and nonprofits, AND the fractional marketing strategy & project management for creative agencies who need someone to keep client's happy, projects moving and be profitable.

Because here's what I've seen happen too many times: Clients get excited, jump in, then the process grinds to a halt. Timelines shift. Projects drag on. Budgets go over. And everyone's trying to keep the client happy while losing money on the project.

I focus on making sure clients are satisfied AND the business stays profitable. Small teams shouldn't have to choose between great work and staying in the black.

If you're an agency dealing with project drag or a nonprofit/service business that needs someone who actually understands wearing all the hats, let's talk.

Thinking back today on how honored to be recognized as one of Albany Business Review’s Women on the Rise! on 2024, and then honored again as a in 2025 has been unreal! I have deep gratitude for the acknowledgement and I look forward to growing further. I'm more than ready for what the next chapter brings.

Your website makes a statement—what’s it saying?👇🏾

Here’s what to focus on to ensure it speaks the right message:

First Impressions Matter ⭐️

Your website is often the first thing potential clients see. Make sure it reflects who you are and what you value.

Smooth Navigation Wins ⭐️

Fseomattersg, mobile-friendly, and easy-to-use designs show visitors you care about their experience.

Consistency is KEY ⭐️

Your visuals, copy, and colors should work together to create a cohesive brand identity that leaves a lasting impression.

Does your website represent your brand the way it should? Make sure it’s setting the right tone—and working for you.

I had a wonderful time at the event. I had the opportunity to share some of what I’ve learned over the years during our panel discussion and stay as a Mentee afterward.

The sentiments of the event were in alignment with my word for 2025: FOCUS

Overall I took some quality gems back home with me last night:

💎 Create harmony in life, not necessarily balance.
💎 Focus on what’s really important to move the needle when it comes to what you are in the process of achieving.
💎 Allow others to focus on YOU as you shine in your authenticity.
💎 NOTHING that is for you will pass you. Putting in the effort will get you where you want to go.

I am usually so present at events like this that I forget to take pictures, but I managed to grab a few this time! I look forward to building meaningful connections and focusing on the important things in 2025.

Tonight I facilitated a training with about market research methods and strategies the student interns could use to spread the word about the panel discussion + networking event they have been planning. From creating specific criteria to aid in selecting panelists that would provide an engaging experience, to methods of leveraging Mission Accomplished’s network to market the event. The students created a plan of action, outlined specific criteria and benefits to share with invitees, and kept each other accountable by assigning tasks to each person to ensure everything is accomplished with excellence. It has been great to work with them and see all the work they are doing! I don’t usually enjoy going out on a cold rainy evening but I’ve never regretted coming to our sessions and having engaging learning with everyone. Looking forward to our next session!
