I turned 40 last month, and I took a day to myself to think about where I'm headed in life, what I want to both bring in and remove in this revolution around the sun.
For years, I've been running Digitally Grounded with this whole side of myself hidden. The creative side everyone sees—websites, SEO, and design, but there's another part I've kept behind the scenes.
I'm a polymath. I do the creative work AND the project management that keeps agency projects profitable and on track.
My first clients back in 2020? They were agencies. A PR firm and a website agency who needed someone who understood both sides of the business. Someone who understood the creative vision and the operational reality of keeping projects from bleeding budgets.
In 2026, I'm done splitting myself in two.
I'm integrating both sides publicly: the creative work for service businesses and nonprofits, AND the fractional marketing strategy & project management for creative agencies who need someone to keep client's happy, projects moving and be profitable.
Because here's what I've seen happen too many times: Clients get excited, jump in, then the process grinds to a halt. Timelines shift. Projects drag on. Budgets go over. And everyone's trying to keep the client happy while losing money on the project.
I focus on making sure clients are satisfied AND the business stays profitable. Small teams shouldn't have to choose between great work and staying in the black.
If you're an agency dealing with project drag or a nonprofit/service business that needs someone who actually understands wearing all the hats, let's talk.
