Ludacris has been removed from the lineup of Kid Rock’s Rock the Country music festival following backlash from fans who were upset about his inclusion on the bill.

The 2026 touring festival, headlined by Kid Rock and featuring artists like Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, and Jelly Roll, initially listed Ludacris and Nelly as part of the lineup. Fans quickly took to social media, criticizing the rapper for being associated with what many view as a politically charged, conservative-leaning event.

Shortly after the controversy, Ludacris’ name disappeared from all promotional materials. A representative later claimed the booking was a “mix-up” and that the rapper was never meant to be part of the tour.

Ludacris has not publicly addressed the situation. Meanwhile, the festival is moving forward as planned, with Nelly still listed as a performer.🛑
