Community That Cares Taskforce
The Community That Cares Taskforce was present today in court to observe proceedings related to the mentally challenged Albion teen who was assaulted by and ADPS officer in late November of 2018, also in Attendance was aspiring community leader Oneal Warnsley followed by Albion NAACP Branch President Bob Dunklin.
In the proceedings it should be noted that Calhoun County Ciruit Judge Tina Yost was meticulous in her handling of such a delicate case, her thoroughness assured this Taskforce that proper protocol was being followed by all entities involved! Also it should be noted that the involved teen has been removed from the juvenile home and placed in a temporary residential facility where he is expected to be placed in the proper environment for the specific treatment he needs. The CTC Taskforce will be following these proceedings closely like this page to see factual updates and our push for systemic change in Juvenile Justice, Drug prevention and the behavioral and mental health systems.
