September, you flew by 🥲 let’s do it again next year?

This season change seems extra abrupt this year and I don’t know if I’m ready for it. 🍂

A little feral. A little princess. A little Steve Irwin.

Never know what friend she’s bringing inside.

Spooky season is fun until your house starts participating. 🕷️👀

So we had come out, and apparently we had a few actual spooky guests hanging around - including black widows and a few hot spots around the house. 😅

Mark was our tech and was SO helpful. He walked me through what he was finding, explained the HomeGuard service he was using so we could be protected year-round, and reassured me that they’re safe around kids and pets. Obviously, a huge priority in our house.

Plus, they have unlimited callbacks in between visits in case some of those unwanted visitors come back. He treated the problem areas AND even put out a rodent control box, which was included with our service.

Very happy to officially evict the creepy crawlies before spooky season really starts!

📚 Why a classic?

St. John’s College in Santa Fe is known as the “Great Books College.” Instead of traditional textbooks, students learn through timeless works of literature, philosophy, science, and history.

Why? Because great books spark curiosity, conversation, and new ideas.

That’s why St. John’s is giving ABQ high schoolers a classic of their choice for FREE this weekend—helping the next generation of New Mexicans find a great book of their own. ❤️
