Albuquerque, NM | Marcotte Brothers Productions is an independent film production company begun by Nick and Trevor Marcotte in October 2011.

To date, they have released a Western short titled "The Weight," as well as two music videos for Seattle band Blackheart Honeymoon. Marcotte Brothers Productions also works in association with other production companies to bring independent film projects to fruition.

We had such a great time at the Albuquerque Film & Music Experience this year! This is really a wonderful festival in our city, and we left feeling inspired by the films we saw. Congratulations to all who were a part of it! And thank you to all who made it happen!

We had lunch with Carissa Mitchell and ordered the exact same thing as her. Coincidence? Or is it that we copied her order to try to assimilate her coolness in any way we can?

It was really wonderful to sit down with Carissa of Mitchell & Associates Talent to discuss goals, dreams, the industry (and Star Wars!) — and just to get to get to know her better! We worked with a few of the talents she represents for “A Scene from Sunset,” and were impressed by the performances and attitudes they brought.

Exciting news!: Sarah Noelle Eastep is nominated for an award at the 46th Young Artist Academy Awards! This is for her portrayal of Grace in our short film, “A Scene from Sunset.” This nomination is well-deserved given her excellent performance in the film. We’re so happy to share the news! Congratulations, Sarah!

We’ve got our sunnies on because 2025 looks bright! 😎 First of all…thank you for a WONDERFUL 2024. We’re beside ourselves with gratitude: the premiere of “A Scene from Sunset,” all the festivals we were a part of, celebrating with cast, crew, family and friends. Major steps forward in getting the feature made. On that note, we have some exciting updates soon. 😉

Austin E. Graham, Vintage Cars: Austin gave us 80s realism with the Jeep Wagoneer in “A Scene from Sunset.” Dubbed the “Swagoneer,” Austin appeared with it in “Stranger Things” as well. Sadly, the Swagoneer was stolen — but it lives on in the productions it’s been a part of.
