PEARL HARBOR DAY
On Pearl Harbor Day, December 7, 1941, Japan launched a surprise attack on the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, leading the United States to enter World War II. The attack killed over 2,400 Americans, injured more than 1,000 others, and destroyed or heavily damaged numerous American naval vessels and airplanes. The following day, the U.S. declared war on Japan. 💖🤍💙
