Dreams of Clay

in a cozy cabin, drinking coffee from my SDV Skull Cavern mug, reading “Mort” by Terry Pratchett. Best way to celebrate a big birthday early. Did I mention I’m turning 40? And changes are coming.

My 3D printer, christened GLaDOS, has been very busy. I have printed a few things, and my favorite so far is the Joe Thompson trimming system. Just wish I had something to trim.

I take your whimsy and I raise you quixotic.
Corporate entities have taken our word. I have had “whimsical potter” in my profile since before the current one. I have used it in my business since it started.
Lately, I have switched it out.
Quixotic comes from the novel Don Quixote a man with whimsy and high ideals no one thought he could reach. In my opinion, this is whimsy as a weapon, and much more dangerous to the status quo.

In college my roommate realized, sit me in front of a cooking show and soon he’ll have dinner. Apparently this works for painting minis. My husband and I have been watching a mini painting competition and lo and behold, I started painting. These are the third time I’ve painted minis, so I’m pretty new. They are turning out ok, if I do say so myself.
