Jive Sound will be open during the Coronavirus outbreak barring any further negative developments. This is based on our low foot traffic and information from the Alexandria Health Department. The health and safety of our customers is paramount, and thus we have taken necessary precautions. Since the virus can survive on metal for up to 12 hours, and cannot survive exposure to sunlight, we have cleaned our basses and exposed them to sunlight. At this moment, none of us are displaying any symptoms, but if you are sick and/or exhibiting symptoms, we kindly ask that you refrain from visiting until it's cleared up. We will still gladly help you over the phone or the internet. We also ask that you wash hands prior to handling any of our equipment. We have soap and hand sanitizer, as well as plenty of toilet paper. We will give a free roll with the purchase of a bass, amplifier, or speaker cabinet while supplies last.
But in all seriousness, let's all do what we can to get through this crisis. We all know that bass players are the level-headed ones in the band. Support your local businesses, but most of all support each-other.
