The commander of the Mount Vernon station, along with Supervisor Dan Storck and Supervisor Rodney Lusk, will be hosting a meeting Tuesday at Mount Vernon High School to give updates on the four murders in the area since May.

Leaders commit to expediting South Alex cleanup, reconstruction

“The last thing we can let happen here ... is let it sit the way it is now for a prolonged period of time.” Chairman Jeff McKay and other members of the BOS say they will do all they can to make sure the South Alex cleanup and rebuilding moves forward as quickly as possible.
