Raising our daughter Miahy with love and faith 💕

Not everyone feels excited during Christmas and that doesn’t make your faith weak. Some seasons are quiet, heavy, or full of unanswered prayers.

You don’t have to force joy or pretend everything is okay because it’s Christmas. Sometimes faith looks like simply showing up and trusting that Emmanuel, God with us, is still near. Christmas isn’t only for the joyful. It’s also for the tired, the waiting, and the hurting. And Jesus came for all of us. ♥️

How 2025 started like this VS how it’s ending…🥺🙏🏽

Now that I’m a mom, I see with new eyes the love, sacrifices, and prayers my own parents poured into me.

When my mom passed away, my dad stepped in with courage, even though he wasn’t perfect. Through his flaws, he loved us deeply and raised us with dedication, and I know God guided him every step of the way.

Later, God blessed us with a wonderful stepmom who has also loved me and my sisters as her own.

Today, as I raise my daughter, I’m reminded of the gift of both mothers and fathers who show up with love and responsibility.

I’m especially grateful for my husband (pictured on the right with his mom) who carries that same heart. I’m pictured on the left with my mom.

Parenting is never easy, but it’s beautiful when done together with God’s grace holding us through. 🙏💛

If we haven’t given up today, it’s not by our own strength, but by God’s mercy that lifts us and His grace that sustains us. Thank You, Lord, for showing up in our lives when life is so hard on us 🙏🏼 We hope this encourages you too.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗜𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁

Lord, thank You for trusting us with this little life.
Through every joy and every trial, we’ve never lacked and we know it’s all because of You.

We pray over my baby’s present and future, I pray blessings over her life…my Miahy (your child’s name), my most precious gift from You Lord.

May she always feel the love of two imperfect parents who lean on a perfect God.
Guide us, strengthen us, and remind us: You are writing her story, and ours, with a great purpose.

In Jesus’ name

𝗜𝗳 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁, 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹.

That’s why we’re making it a priority to learn the Bible for ourselves so we can pass it on with love, truth, and intention.

This week, we visited the Museum of the Bible (it’s free every last Tuesday of the month!) and explored the history of the Bible. One moment that really stood out? A wall showing all the languages the Bible has been translated into, and of course, Malagasy was right there. A beautiful reminder that God’s Word reaches far and wide.

We’re not perfect, but we’re committed to growing and building a foundation our daughter can stand on. One that’s rooted in love and faith.
