For years, I knew there was a story about my home town that needed to be told. Near the end of '21, that story found me and for the past year, with the cooperation and trust of some truly special people, I have been developing the screenplay for a original series based on an extraordinary man doing extraordinary things and a very singularly special place. Very soon there will be a call to action,

but for now if you would be so kind as to follow/like SixthStreetEntertertainment on all socials. From the this point on please share in the journey of bringing "The War Fields" to life.

Hey everyone – I know it’s been a minute since I’ve shared anything here, and I appreciate your patience and continued interest in The War Fields.

Over the past several months, I’ve been working quietly behind the scenes as my partnership with Picture Farm Production has taken the lead in pitching the project to networks and platforms. It’s been a season of growth, learning, and trust in the timing of things.

While I have to be mindful about what I can publicly share during this stage, I want you to know The War Fields is very much alive, evolving, and still rooted in everything that inspired it: legacy, grit, redemption, and the spirit of a town that refuses to be forgotten. But, most importantly, we still hold true to the story of this exceptional man. Ongoing respect and gratitude to Coach Mike Warfield, his family and all associated with this story. It is sincerely my privilege and I am grateful.

Thank you for believing in this story, in me, and in what it represents. I’ll be sharing more soon as the path unfolds. Great things are afoot!

Coach Mike shared the above with me during our first meeting.
The series pitch, that we worked so hard on, landed extremely well and we have recently signed with a production company as a result. Don't want to say too much at this time, but the entire team now working on this project agrees that this amazing story needs to be told. It is time.

Wishing Coach Vashawn Patrick and all the best as they enter into a new season in defense of their latest state title. Sixth Street is pulling for you!

It's been more than a minute since we posted any updates on The War Fields. GREAT things are happening behind the scenes, but too early to disclose.

So, as we begin to ramp up for the second half of the year, I wanted to highlight the work of composer Steven Bias. This "Lament" is a variation on his theme for our series. It's a perfect compliment to Michael Barr's artwork.

For the past two and a half years, I've had the cooporation and support of many talented friends and colleagues, from different chapters of my journey, each lending not only their talents, but their heart and soul to The War Fields. I am grateful, but it's no surprise. It's part of the magic that has surrounded this endeavor from the beginning; the magic that is leading us into this next, very important, chapter in the journey to bring this series to life.
