While many authors are still debating whether AI belongs in publishing, the publishing industry has already moved on.

Publishers are adapting. Industry organizations are teaching it. Policies are evolving. Conversations around disclosure, intellectual property, discoverability, and responsible use are already happening throughout the publishing world.

For authors, the question is no longer whether AI belongs.

The question is whether you understand how AI may affect your books, your rights, your website traffic, your marketing efforts, and your future opportunities.

You don’t have to use AI.

You don’t have to like AI.

But you do need to understand how it’s changing the industry around you.

Our June 13 in-person session of Authors in the Age of AI has officially reached capacity. However, we don’t want space limitations to prevent authors from participating in this important conversation.

To ensure more authors can join us, we’ve opened virtual access for the June 13 session.

Whether you’re excited about AI, skeptical of it, or simply trying to understand what it means for your writing career, this event is designed to help authors separate the headlines from reality and better understand what’s happening in publishing today.

BookLogix is proud to support this year’s Back the Blue Breakfast benefiting the Sgt. D.P. Land Memorial FOP Lodge #82 Cops & Kids Program.

The more we work with first responders, the more we are reminded how much our communities ask of them.

They walk into situations others run from. They answer calls at all hours. They witness what most people never will. They carry stress, responsibility, and pressure that many of us cannot fully understand, yet they continue to show up in service to others.

That is why this event matters to us.

For this year’s raffle, we wanted to contribute something more meaningful than a standard basket. We assembled a collection of books written by and for law enforcement officers, investigators, firefighters, and first responders. Some share lessons from the field. Some focus on leadership, wellness, and survival. Others tell stories shaped by real experience.

Several of the authors even signed their books or wrote personal notes for the recipient.

This collection represents only a small portion of the first responders who have trusted BookLogix to help preserve and publish their stories.

To every first responder: thank you.

We see you. We appreciate you. We are grateful for the work you do and the sacrifices you make for the communities that depend on you.
