The Collective Magazine Story
Collective magazine is the only monthly, full-color 84-page magazine produced monthly distributed worldwide. Collective is also the only helicopter publication catering to a truly global audience, published in English and soon in Chinese the largest growing market in the helicopter industry.
Started in 2014, Collective magazine was rebranded from Heliweb Magazine to separate from the crowded “Heli” name synonymous with helicopter brands but one that did not differentiate and explain the vision of Ryan Mason, the publisher and owner of the brand, who along with giving the magazine a fresh new look, wanted a brand name that not only was instantly recognizable as with the flight control reference in the name, but find a name that would symbolize the industry, that we are all in so many ways, a “Collective” of people within the industry trying to make our way and as with our brand, impact the safety of the helicopter industry.
The magazine has now grown to be one of the most read online news sources for helicopter industry news as readers have resonate with our unique view to publishing news that matters to readers who have tired of a one dimensional approach.
Collective continues to grow as the magazine continues to look for unique opportunities to provide a comprehensive view of the helicopter industry and highlight companies and people who do “Good things for good people”.
