So excited for another rodeo season to get started. We have the first college rodeo other than Spring for the Southwest region in Odessa next weekend. My son won the team roping and brought home the buckle last year. Let’s see if I we can do it again! 🐴 Buckle Mama Pro Tip. Find the rodeo schedules online, print them out, write them down in your planner, make hotel reservations (check the region website for host hotel discounts!) and then show. Your rodeo athletes will not tell you anything! They will not give you details. They are teens//early 20 something’s who don’t have a complete grasp on communication yet. Don’t forget to cheer loud but be quiet while you video the run. IYKYK!

And while I agree with that, I think we need to add one more:
3. Breath
When we control our breath, we can control our life. Whether it’s trying to catch your breath from a workout or blowing off steam from a stressful situation, our breath determines how intense a situation feels and our bodies physiological response. When you master your breath and slow it down, you can think more clearly and respond more authentically. So try this - stop right now and take 5 full, slow, controlled breaths counting to 3 on the way in and the way out. See how much better you feel and how much more prepared you feel to take on the rest of your day. Then push play for even more strategies to control you life by controlling your breath.
