Last weekend was no small project over 20,000 sq. ft. of lawns got some much needed love!
✅ Mowed Low
✅ Dethatched to clear out the dead grass and thatch buildup!
✅ Aerated to open up the soil and let water, air, and nutrients flow!
✅ Overseeded to thicken up the turf and keep it lush for seasons to come! Earl May provided the grass seed!
✅ Fertilized with a fertilizer with Mesotrione to protect against weeds in the new and existing grass
✅ Topdressed with peat moss to keep moisture consistent for the seeds! The VEVOR peat moss spreader was an amazing sperader compared to my previous one!
✅ Setup above ground Irrigation with timers to provide consistent watering to ensure proper seed germination!
Big jobs like this are a reminder that healthy lawns don’t just happen overnight it takes effort, the right timing, and the right care. Fall is the perfect season to rejuvenate grass and set it up for success next year!
Watch the next few posts as I will share some more tips about thatch, grass seed and more reasons why to rejuvenate your lawn more often than not!
