The return of Lawn Daddi is upon you!
Today I threw down some Andersons Lawn Barricade to protect and prevent w**ds from arriving on our property!
Some people ask why do Pre-Emergent ?
Early Spring Pre-Emergent W**d Control Matters ALOT!
Spring might feel like it’s just getting started, but w**ds are already preparing to take over your lawn. Applying pre-emergent w**d control early in the season is one of the most important steps to keeping your yard healthy and looking great all year long!
Pre-emergent works by creating a barrier in the soil that stops w**d seeds from germinating before they ever break through the surface. Once w**ds sprout, they’re much harder to control, which means more work and more treatments later and more stress!
By applying it early in the spring you can:
1-Prevent common w**ds like crabgrass and foxtail before they grow
2-Reduce the need for harsher post-emergent w**d killers later
3-Help your grass use nutrients, water, and sunlight instead of w**ds
4-Keep your lawn thicker, healthier, and easier to maintain
Timing is everything. Once soil temperatures start warming up and near 50 degrees at about 4 inches deep in the soil that when w**d seeds begin to germinate quickly! Getting pre-emergent down before that happens is the key to stopping w**ds before they start!
A little preparation in early spring goes a long way toward a greener, healthier lawn all season long.
