The Burning Bush blog started September 1, 2020. In recent times, it’s been alarming to see the amount of Christians that don’t truly understand what God’s Word really says - and not on tough subjects, but on foundational theology. This misunderstanding has led to a divisive Christian culture, that we now find ourselves in. It is commanded to Christians to spread God’s Word to all who will hear it (Matthew 28:19, 2 Timothy 4:2). So, we examined the State of Theology conducted by Ligonier Ministries, and noticed the following shocking results:
42% of U.S. Christians believe that God accepts the worship of all religions, including Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.
This is what is known as relative truth, and is unbiblical. This statistic shows that this principle has influenced every sphere of life in the United States, including ethical issues that are at the very forefront of public debate.
22% of U.S. Christians believe that gender identity is a matter of choice.
We will leave this bluntly: gender identity is not a matter of choice. Thinking that the bible teaches otherwise is unbiblical.

A Calling
These facts reveal there is a massive widespread confusion in the United States about even the most basic things taught in the Bible. We see in our modern times that Christians are being influenced by society, not by God’s Word, and therefore have developed an unhealthy uncertainty about what truth is, who Jesus is, and how sinners even come to salvation.
We are here to help provide clear biblical teaching on the person of Christ, the gospel of grace, and the way that the truth of God informs our ethical decisions in every day life. God doesn’t stop after church ends on Sunday. There are 168 hours in a week, and it’s time Christians start embracing the other 167 as well.
Our Mission
Therefore, it is our mission to equip Christians with a solid theological foundation upon which we will build the ability to defend our faith, witness to anyone who will listen, and instill the values taught in the Bible into our culture and society once again.
