$5 a month….it really takes that little to make huge changes! Don’t believe us? Well we are striving for a $250,000 goal and guess what? We’re at $15,000!!! That means 3,000 of our amazing followers believe in our mission and want to see us save more dogs. There’s a whole lot more of you and we’re hoping you see how much that $5 a month donation can do. We’ll break it down⬇️

If 25% of our supporters gave just $5 a month (literally the cost of a cup of coffee) we would have $250,000 in that months time. $250,000 in just one month! Do you know how many lives that would save?!?! We could expand our facilities to take in even more dogs. We could do twice as many transports. We could take in more medical. The list goes on and on. That kind of money would be life changing for so many more dogs we can only dream of all the good we could do….

But maybe it doesn’t have to be a dream….Many of our followers can’t adopt or foster and so they give instead. We appreciate so much what each of you give ❤️. Now let’s organize and spread that giving to others. $5 a month is a small amount for many of us but has the potential to make massive changes if many participate and give. It is time for us to come together as a community to fix the issues we are having in animal wellness! No amount of finger pointing will help us move our agenda forward.

Thousands of dogs are dying in our shelters. Rescues are filled to the brim, and struggling with the resources to do more than just make a dent in the shelter population.

Hats off to the shelters, the rescue groups that are in the trenches helping stray dogs, the rescue groups helping the homeless populations, and the rescues that are taking in more dogs than they have room and resources for.

You can help us all by sending letters to your local government to make changes in regulations, by volunteering, donating, fostering, and helping us to educate the community.

Freedom rides are the best and what better way to spend than with a life saving freedom ride courtesy of OC Pit Bull Rescue! We all know how hard it is to get pitbulls out of shelters and how hard pittie rescues work. We saw their pleas for these two and with a little bit of teamwork both Rex and Walker are now safe at our ranch. When rescues work together it’s a beautiful thing ❤️If you aren’t already following Orange County Pit Bull Rescue head over to their page. They’re doing amazing things!

All lives are worth saving and we wish everyone understood that. We save the lives that need to be saved and right now one of the greatest needs our local shelters have is puppies. Yes puppies. Most people just automatically assume puppies will make it out but sadly that assumption is misplaced. We’re sure you’ve seen the questions in the comments section of our posts. “Why aren’t you focusing on the dogs that really need out?” “Why are you saving so many puppies aren’t there dogs that need out more?” “You must not be a real rescue if you’re just saving puppies!”

Here’s the reality…..there are so many puppies in our shelters the shelter staff are now forced to put some of them on their euthanasia lists. NO shelter wants to euthanize babies and they are begging rescues to get them out. Begging! Should we just turn a blind eye to their pleas because people think saving babies isn’t “real rescue”? Our answer is NO! We are going to help where our shelters need help the most and guess what that help is saving 100s of lives. We won’t apologize for that. So please take a minute to find value in the help every rescue gives. The lives they pull make room for others that may not have a chance at life without the space those pulls made.

For 7 of the 45 years he’s been incarcerated, Mr Bell has dedicated himself to our program, our dogs, and his fellow trainers. This speech is from his 12th or 13th graduation! For 7 years, we’ve greeted one another with a big hug every time I walk into our housing unit at North Kern State Prison. It’s always meant a lot to me, and in the early days, helped me feel safe.We’ve seen a lot of men serving very long sentences earn their freedom, but Mr Bell hasn’t been so fortunate. I’ve grown to respect him deeply because he makes every effort to leave a positive streak behind him, which others pick up, and carry with them. He carries with him immense warmth and empathy, which is surprising considering his surroundings for the last 4+ decades. Mr Bell may be transferring to another prison soon, so I wanted to make an effort to honor him and share with all of you what he’s meant to us. Mr Bell—THANK YOU for countless hours of service to your brothers and your dogs over the last 7 years! We feel blessed to have had you and have adopted your ethos of love, warmth and inclusiveness! You are the epitome of Pawsitive Change, Dennis! We all have faith you’ll be home one day!
