A lot of families assume that driving to Magic Kingdom means walking right in.

And it makes sense — you parked, you’re there, it feels like arrival.

But Magic Kingdom works a little differently.
When you drive, you’re arriving at the Transportation & Ticket Center first — which means one more step (monorail or ferry) before you ever reach the gates.

This doesn’t mean driving is wrong.

At Disney California Adventure, Disney ¡Viva Navidad! isn’t a parade that rushes past you.
It stops.
The music surrounds you.
And little ones can watch, sway, clap, and spin without being told to “stand still.”

At Pop Century, where you go depends on where you’re going:

• EPCOT & Hollywood Studios → Skyliner (back/lake side)
• Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs → Buses (front of the resort)

None of this is hard.
But realizing it after you’ve already started walking is where the tension comes from.

It’s realizing—after you’ve already started walking—that this isn’t the right place to be this morning.

Resorts like the Polynesian have multiple departure points.
They’re all lovely.
They don’t all take you where you need to go.
