Neck fans are the clear winner in the theme park fan battle.

I’ve used both, and for most adults, I’ll take a neck fan every time.

They’re lightweight, hands-free, and you can wear them on many rides without giving them a second thought. No carrying them. No finding a place to put them. No worrying about leaks.

Now, misting fans absolutely have their place. If you have a stroller, scooter, or kids who love the cooling spray, they can be fantastic.

But if I’m walking all day through Disney World or Universal, I don’t want one more thing in my hands.

Give me a neck fan and let’s go.

When Disney Cruise Line says the kids clubs are designed for kids, they mean it.

Before children enter the club, they pass through an automatic hand-washing station. Kids stick their hands in, get a quick wash, and then head off to play.

Naturally, Monica (our most experienced travel advisor)had to test it herself.

It’s a small thing, but it’s also a good example of what Disney does well. They look at a problem (keeping hundreds of kids healthy on a ship) and turn it into something fun instead of something parents have to nag about.

One person wants thrill rides.

The Disney hotel feature nobody talks about…
is the little “Hey Disney!” device sitting in your room.

And honestly? Kids get weirdly attached to this thing. 😂

It can tell jokes, answer Disney trivia, give transportation info, set character wake-up calls, and even request extra towels or blankets.

It’s one of those small details that makes staying at an official Disney World hotel feel a little more fun than just having a hotel near Disney.

…but kids usually spot them instantly. 😂

These surrey bikes are available at several Disney resorts, and they end up becoming one of those unexpectedly fun little vacation memories families talk about afterward.

Because honestly…
how often do you get to ride a giant 4-person bike together?

It’s the same energy as pedal boats.
You see them and immediately think:

“Okay wait… we have to try that.”

And somewhere between the laughing and everybody pedaling at different speeds…

When Disney fans talk about being “in the Disney Bubble,” they’re often talking about completely different things.

For some people it’s never driving.

For some people it’s being surrounded by Disney details all day.

For some people it’s walking to EPCOT.

For some people it’s hearing the ferry horn from their balcony.

For some people it’s simply leaving the real world behind for a few days.
