New York City has been on our family travel bucket list for years, and this October we finally made it happen! We spent four full days exploring the city that never sleeps — from iconic landmarks to kid-friendly adventures, delicious bites, and a Broadway show we’ll never forget.

We stopped by this weekend to check out ‘s Mini Golf Open! It was so fun checking out the creative mini golf holes that were built by locals! ⛳️ The proceeds went to the non-profit Respite Care, Inc. and you had the chance to vote for your favorite mini golf hole creation!

Day 2 of our Alaska cruise on was a day at sea! 🌊 The perfect way to get acquainted with a new ship!

✨ We started with relaxing in the observation lounge and searching for whale sightings (pro tip: I love bringing a workbook for my daughter to learn about our destination!)

✨ Next up was the kid’s club for our daughter and the This is Alaska presentation in the theater (also a quick stop at Starbucks onboard for a PSL) ☕️

✨ A stop by The Waterfront on Deck 8 to my favorite bar with views and a mimosa 🥂

✨ The thermal spa pass is a MUST on an Alask cruise and the views off the aft of the ship on a warm stone lounger can’t be beat! 🏔️

✨ Dinner at Food Republic specialty dining, we love sharing all the dishes here, from sushi to pho and pad Thai! 🍜

✨ Another stop at the Observation Lounge to end the evening with an espresso martini, piano music and Uno with beautiful views of the sunset!

✨ Make sure to book a balcony room for you Alaskan cruise! You won’t want to miss all there is to see out your window, from northern lights to late evening sunset, whales and more!

We are sailing on The Norwegian Bliss this week for our first ever Alaska cruise! Departing from Seattle provided some amazing views from the ship on embarkation day! 🏙️ 🚢 We’ve lucked out with some amazing weather and even enjoyed the pools and waterslides. We can’t wait to share more of our time on and our Alaska adventures!

Views from the Space Needle! Built in 1962 for the World’s Fair, this iconic landmark features an observation deck with views of the downtown Seattle skyline, Mount Rainier, Elliott Bay, and more. One of the decks features glass floors and rotates around giving you a 360 view of Seattle.

For the full futuristic, space vibes experience (think Jetsons), make sure you take the monorail from Westlake Center to the Space Needle!

No Seattle trip is complete without a visit to Pike Place Market! Fresh seafood, flowers, local eats, the OG Starbucks, and all the vibes. 🐟 ☕️ A must-see spot in the heart of the city! 🏙️
