We often imagine freedom as having nobody to answer to. Yet our decisions can still be controlled by approval, comfort, relationships, possessions, or beliefs we’ve never examined.

Perhaps real freedom isn’t living without commitment. Perhaps it’s choosing the right commitment.

Your time, attention, and energy will be given somewhere. Make sure they’re being given to something worthy—and place your Creator above everything else.
