Today started off as one of the worst days of my life, someone very dear to me took her life during the night, after calling me around midnight begging me to come back to the area she lived to help her and I told her that I couldn't do it, she ended herself about an hour later 😭😭😭😭😭 I've been there myself, I tried to end myself self back in 1997, I had no clue that she was in such a bad point in life 😭😭😭

Since I started trying to write poems again a few years back, I've written quite a number of them and shared a few of them, but I haven't written a love poem until now! It's taken me a lot of time but I heard someone say, "You're my favorite headache" sometime back and it kept running through my mind and became my inspiration for this poem along with some great old memories!!

My Favorite Headache

You're my favorite headache, a sweet kind of pain,
A storm in my heart, like a soft summer rain.
Your laugh is the lightning, your eyes spark the fight,
A beautiful chaos that keeps me up at night.

Each thought of you tangles, a glorious mess,
A puzzle I’m solving with every caress.
You tease and you tumble, my calm turned to ache,
Yet I’d chase this sweet torment for all that it takes.

No cure do I seek for this fever you bring,
Your touch is the melody, making my soul sing.
My favorite headache, my joy, my sweet strife,
You’re the pulse in my veins, the beat of my life.
