☕🥐🥞🥚🧇🍾 did you know brunching is my fave sport?

is one of my must-hits while in anchorage. i was introduced to it a few summers ago by a friend and colleague. a few years ago, i spent many days in their backyard garden drinking lattes, eating the most delicious baked goods, and doing work while my son attended a summer camp in the area.

being able to revisit one of my favorite places after so much time has passed was an emotional moment for me. simple pleasures are so important.

i was so excited to (bessssst tallow & 🍯) alongside in .espresso. nothing makes me happier than seeing kodiak artists outside of town.

eveeeerrrry alaskan tries to live every second between june 1 and august 31 like it might be their last on earth… the real ones get it.

and honestly? after losing an entire year of my life, i am even more hyperaware of this feeling this year.

so on that note here are some things i’m excited about, in no particular order:

• my upcoming branding shoot with .co

• disneyland for my besties 40th

• heading to anchorage for summer solstice with friends

• getting to see in kodiak

• 26 glorious child-free days (thank you autism summer camp 🙌)

• healing in the sun

• sand, babies in swimsuits, and beach days

• bonfires & family camping

• celebrating my mom’s retirement

• slowly breathing life back into my business after this long unwanted hiatus.

I am still in and out of the hospital but doing my fu*king damnedest to not let it define me🧡
