I made these Creamy Lemon Squares today… and wow 😍
I shared a few with my neighbor, but honestly, I wish I hadn’t because we devoured the rest so fast!! Absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious — this recipe is a keeper ❤️
Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled & cut into small pieces
• 4 large eggs
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup lemon juice
• 1 tbsp grated lemon peel
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• Powdered sugar for topping
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 pan.
Mix 1 1/2 cups flour + 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Cut in butter until coarse crumbs. Press into pan and bake 18–20 min until light golden.
Whisk eggs, granulated sugar, 2 tbsp flour, lemon juice, zest, and cream. Pour over baked crust.
Bake another 20–25 min until golden and set. Cool to room temp.
Sprinkle powdered sugar and serve.
