Every time I trained… my back would flare up. It felt fine in the moment. Then the next day… tight. irritated. starting again. So I did what most people do. Tried to manage it. Different exercises. Different advice. No real structure. That’s why it kept happening. It wasn’t that my back was weak. It just wasn’t built to handle the load I was putting through it. Everything changed when I stopped guessing… and actually followed a structured way of rebuilding it. That’s the difference most people are missing. 🪖 bulletproofyourback

Most people with back pain do the same thing… They stop doing anything that might trigger it. No bending. No loading. No risk. It feels safer. But over time, your back becomes less and less able to handle anything. That’s why it keeps flaring up. Not because it’s damaged. Because it’s underprepared. The goal isn’t to protect it forever. It’s to rebuild it so it can actually handle load again. If your back keeps flaring up when you train… this is usually why. 🪖 bulletproofyourback

It took me 2 years to figure this out. Most people with recurring back pain keep waiting for the pain to disappear before they train again. So they stretch. They rest. They avoid movements that might flare it up. But the problem is… Your back doesn’t get stronger by waiting. It adapts to what you expose it to. If your spine never rebuilds tolerance to load, normal things start to feel dangerous. Sitting. Travelling. Training. And that’s how people get stuck in the cycle. Pain settles temporarily… But the back is never rebuilt. 🪖 bulletproofyourback
