TacMed Solutions Acquires RINITechnologies, Strengthening Innovation in Pre-Hospital Trauma Care

Please join us in marking this historic moment in Countybank’s 92-year history as we celebrate the appointment of R. Thornwell “Wells” Dunlap, V as the President of Countybank! Earlier today, the Countybank Board of Directors appointed Wells as President and also elected him to serve on the Countybank Board. Wells was also elected to serve on the Board of Directors for TCB Corporation, our holding company. Wells embodies Countybank’s mission of service and he’s passionate about serving the next generation of customers throughout the Upstate of South Carolina. Knowing Wells is committed to our company value to “Put People First,” we’re excited for him to lead us into our next chapter.

A little bit about Wells: Wells graduated from Presbyterian College in 2008 and after a career in economic development in Anderson County, he joined Countybank in 2013 as a Credit Administration Officer. In 2017, he graduated from the South Carolina Bankers School, and in 2022 he graduated from the LSU Graduate School of Banking. After working in Credit Administration and earning an officer title of Vice President, Wells moved into Commercial Banking in our Greenville market. In 2022, he was appointed Senior Vice President by the Board of Directors, was promoted to Senior Operations Officer, and joined our Senior Leadership Team. Over the last 3 years, Wells has overseen our Retail Banking, Marketing, Digital Banking, Customer Service, and Deposit Operations. In 2024, Wells was named South Carolina’s Outstanding Young Banker, the highest honor presented in South Carolina’s banking industry. Most recently, in June 2025, Wells was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Banker’s Association. Wells is also actively involved in numerous community-focused organizations throughout the Upstate.

Flag Retirement Dropbox Ceremony
July 10, 2025 – Anderson County is pleased to announce the dedication of a flag
drop-off location on Monday, July 14, 2025. Councilman Jimmy Davis, the Anderson
Library System, and the county will host a Flag Retirement Ceremony. The event will
be held in front of the Powdersville Branch Library at 11:30 a.m. The community is
invited to attend.
The purpose of this ceremony is to encourage our citizenry of proper flag
retirement and to provide for disposal of unserviceable flags.

AnMed expands access to urgent care in Clemson



CLEMSON, S.C. (July 7, 2025) – AnMed and Urgent Care Group have partnered to open AnMed Urgent Care in Clemson, at 885 Tiger Boulevard, Building A. Formerly known as AnMed CareConnect, AnMed Urgent Care continues to deliver exceptional care with expanded hours and improved access to convenient, compassionate and cost-effective services from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. every day.



Walk-in care is available for illnesses and injuries, including flu, colds, infections and minor fractures. X-ray imaging, lab services, COVID testing and occupational medicine are also on site.



The practice is the latest addition to the partnership announced in March for AnMed and Urgent Care Group. The joint venture combines AnMed’s skill and expertise in delivering exceptional, compassionate health care with Urgent Care Group’s skill and expertise in urgent care operations, allowing the organizations to leverage strengths and expand access to care throughout the region.



“This partnership allows us to immediately improve patient access to urgent care services through expanded hours and staffing, and we’re happy this will now make a difference for the residents of Clemson,” said AnMed CEO William Kenley.
