Anderson- South Carolina Highway Patrol and Medshore Ambulance Service responded to Highway 81 South and West Moore Road for a collision. Melissa Lynn Webb was seen sitting in her wrecked Jeep with her small child in the front seat. Witness stated that Webb was acting erratically and would not exit her vehicle. A trooper got EMS to check out the small child while the trooper performed a field sobriety test on Webb. Webb was arrested and charged with DUI .10 or under, 1st offense, Hit and Run, and Child Endangerment. Per online records, Webb is still in the Anderson County Detention Center.

Anderson- One person was airlifted to Prisma by Life Flight after a collision on I-85. Sandy Springs Fire Department, Medshore Ambulance Service, Life Flight, and South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to I-85 at the on-ramp South Bound at Exit 19 after a motorcycle wrecked into the concrete median. South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating this wreck.

Abbeville Man Arrested on Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor and Related Charges

(COLUMBIA, S.C.) South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of Timothy Cory Griffin (age 37), of Abbeville, S.C., on two charges connected to the s*xual exploitation of minors. Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Abbeville Police Department made the arrest.

Investigators state Griffin solicited and traveled to meet a person he believed to be a minor for s*x.

Griffin was arrested on September 19, 2025. He is charged with one count of criminal solicitation of a minor (§16-15-342), a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment, and one count of attempted criminal s*xual conduct with a minor (§16-3-655(B)(1)).


This case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General's Office.

Attorney General Wilson stressed that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.

Additional Charges Against Two Oconee Residents.
SLED has made additional charges against Joshua Latimer with Homicide by Child Abuse (AID/ABETTING) and against Destiny Dionne with Homicide by Child Abuse.

Oconee- An autopsy done Monday has shed a little light on what happened to cause 4-year-old Isaiah Joseph Dionne to go into cardiac arrest. Coroner Karl Addis said At 6:40 am Friday morning, September 19, 2025, the Oconee County Coroner Office responded to 417 Forest Acres Circle near Walhalla to a reported child death. A 4-year-old boy was found unresponsive by his parents and EMS was called to the home at approximately 6:20 am. This child was pronounced dead at the home.
The child is identified as Isaiah Joseph Dionne.
Based on the examination of this child at the scene, his death appeared suspicious in nature.
Special agents with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) Special Victims Unit were called to this incident. SLED would become the lead law enforcement agency to investigate this death with assistance from the Oconee County Sheriff’s Department provided.
His mother, Destiny Dionne and step-father, Joshua Latimer, as previously reported was arrested by SLED on Friday evening
An autopsy was conducted Monday morning; no details on cause of death will be released at this time awaiting further tests that are to be being conducted.
The manner of death for Isaiah Joseph Dionne is classified as a Homicide.

Laurens County Man Charged with Four Counts of Crimes Against Children.

Waterloo- Thomas Nicholas Rytter (age 27) of Waterloo has been charged with four counts of s*xual exploitation of a minor. Rytter is being held in the Laurens County Jail on a $40,000 Bond.

South Carolina Attorney General's Office said, South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of Thomas Nicholas Rytter (age 27), of Waterloo, S.C., on four charges connected to the s*xual exploitation of a minor. Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the South Carolina Attorney General's Office made the arrest. Investigators with the Laurens County Sheriff's Office and Homeland Security Investigations, both also members of the state's ICAC Task Force, assisted with this investigation.

Investigators received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), which led them to Rytter. Investigators state Rytter distributed and possessed files of child s*xual abuse material.

Rytter was arrested on September 19, 2025. He is charged with one count of s*xual exploitation of a minor, second degree (§16-15-405), a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment; and three counts of s*xual exploitation of a minor, third degree (§16-15-410), a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count.


The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General's Office.

Attorney General Wilson stressed all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
