I have been documenting life through photos for six years. I also began studying graphic design in 2017 and have been writing poems, stories, essays and articles throughout my entire life.

We're in the final week of Taste & See at The Common Cup in Ann Arbor. If you haven't gotten a chance to stop by and see it, you have until Saturday morning! Thank you so much to all the people who have come to see the show, and I'm hoping to continue showing all these pieces at more locations in 2026!

The art exhibition that Amanda Śpiewla and I have been working on for the last year and a half has finally found its home at The Common Cup in Ann Arbor.

AMP’s Story

Hi, I'm Allie! My name is Allie Milot and I was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I am an art student at Concordia University Ann Arbor. Although I pursue multiple interests, I have been documenting life through photos for four years and I plan to continue progressing in my skills as a photographer through schooling and experience. Portraits inspire me above all other forms of photography. Every person is created differently and brings a unique quality to their photoshoot. The mystery of a new person's personality, being displayed through photos, is both intriguing and exciting. There are no words to describe how a picture is able to speak to it's viewers. One picture has the ability to tell a story, crack a joke, bring back a memory, all at a single glance. My job as your photographer is to not just 'take pictures' but to capture moments that you will treasure for years to come.
