The Contra Costa Mosquito and Vector Control District has detected Aedes aegypti mosquitoes in Antioch — capable of spreading Zika, Dengue, and Yellow Fever.

🟡 These mosquitoes bite during the daytime
🟡 They can develop in even bottle cap-sized amount of water

🔍 Area Identified: South of Hwy 4, between Lone Tree Way and Hillcrest Ave/Deer Valley Rd

🧼 This Memorial Day Weekend:
✅ Dump ALL standing water
✅ Stay alert for mosquito activity
