I just finished watching the city council meeting on YouTube.

What many people in this city are looking for is a clear answer regarding Nadia Anderson’s residency and whether her address was lawfully represented when she ran for the council seat she currently holds.

The show she put on tonight was unnecessary.

The case against Nadia Anderson has been dismissed without prejudice, which means it was not dismissed permanently and may be refiled.

The court granted the motion to dismiss because the City of Apopka was not included as a required party. The judge determined that since the complaint involves interpretation of the City’s charter regarding residency requirements, the municipality must be joined in the case.

The plaintiff has 20 days to file an amended complaint addressing this issue. It remains to be seen whether Mr. McLeod will refile and include the City as required.

I can’t believe this is what we have to choose from for mayor -

1. The guy no one likes.
2. The woman who lied about residency.
3. The guy with no experience.

I don’t really have a whole lot to say about the state of Apopka right now except for - holy clown show. I have a feeling the dramatics are just warming up.
