In 2023, my word was growth. I had all these great intentions. Intentions of growing my business (obviously), but more so intentions of growing as a person in both my personal and business life. But life knocked me down again last year. Having lost three babies over the course of two years, it’s been hard. It’s something you never expect, and even when you’ve been through it before like I have, it never gets easier. I wish I could say I didn’t let it affect my business, but the truth is, I did. It is.

Luckily, though, God has placed the most amazing clients in my life because you all have been SO patient with me. More than I could EVER ask for. And I hope you know I don’t take that for granted. So with that being said, my word for 2024 is INTENTIONAL.

I feel like being more intentional has been a trend for most for a while now, but it’s something my life desperately needs. I need to be more intentional when it comes to my couples. I need to be more intentional with my growing family. And I need to be more intentional with my faith. 2024 is going to look a lot different for me. We should be welcoming a baby boy into our lives soon. I’m taking on less weddings. I’m hoping to find healing. And, hopefully I’m able to fulfill my promise to be more intentional. 🫶🏼

Megan & Zach’s wedding teaser from a couple of weekends ago!

These two were so much fun and the absolute cutest couple. My biggest piece of advice to my clients would be to be in the moment. I know I talk about this all the time but it couldn’t be more true. Being in the moment not only allows you to enjoy and take in your wedding day more, but it will also give you the best wedding video! I am a huge advocate for candid over here, and these two cutie pies knocked it out of the park.

Also, Zach’s personal vows to Megan had me BAWLING and I can’t wait to share more from their special day!
