The Job Overview:
Our appointment setting specialist will be responsible for identifying potential clients, reaching them on the phone, and scheduling an appointment for a sales representative for initial and follow-up visits, either in person or via telephone. You will be spending most of your day setting appointments for our sales team. If you enjoy talking to people and are interested in sales, this is the ideal position for you.
Our Appointment Setting Specialist is also occasionally responsible for completing many customer service and administrative organization tasks to promote efficient operations in the office. Duties and responsibilities will depend on the current Project or pressing matter at hand.
An hourly salary along with the opportunity to earn commissions will be provided to the right candidate.
*Main Responsibilities:
Ensure each prospective client and potential customer has a positive experience with our company
Answering Phone and Transferring calls as needed
Take the initiative to learn about the company and grow within the role
Prioritize which appointments take priority over others to maximize revenue
Field incoming and outgoing phone calls and convert 50% or more into appointments
Develop and distribute reports of each day’s appointments
Properly explain the products and services to prospective customers when making appointments
Complete required call sheets at the end of each day
Preparing Media Kits and other marketing based kits for Sales and Marketing Team
*Secondary Responsibilities:
Maintain databases and sending memos and emails
Making logistical arrangements for meetings or conferences, including booking travel, making reservations or organizing rentals
Running errands and making deliveries for the office or to and from external locations and parties
Collecting, filing and organizing office documents
Digital document filing,
and email correspondence
Monitoring office inventory and ordering supplies
*Job Qualifications and Skill Sets:
Minimum high school diploma, some college preferred
Exhibit Effective organization and time management skills, like prioritization, multitasking and planning
Excellent communication abilities, including speaking, writing and active listening
Great Customer Service skills including a personable and positive attitude
Good computer skills, including basic troubleshooting and using word
Problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making abilities
Ability to work independently with little-to-no supervision
*Other Skills:
Ability to multitask
Ability to work at least 8 hours each day, 5 days per week
A pleasant speaking voice when engaging with prospects and customers
Experience and willingness, working in a team environment
Keen attention to detail
