Meet one of our 2025 40 Under 40s: Jodie Federwitz, People Services Advisor, Ornua Ingredients North America, former teacher and former director of PULSE Young Professionals Network!

Q: What is one cause or issue that you’re especially passionate about, and why?

The child care crisis. Being a working mom with a young son, it was imperative to find care, and the fact that I had to start looking as soon as I found out I was pregnant was a heavy burden. Until daycare is seen for the institution that it is and given the proper funding and support from government and community, how can we hope to keep parents in the workforce and children prepared for the school years to come?

The staff at Woodward Communications, parent company of Insight, got a sneak peak at the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Holiday Light Show Thursday!

The event features 1.1 million lights, holiday music, s’mores, concessions, a chance to meet Fang and take a train ride. There is a place to write letters to Santa, warm up by a fire or in the Leinie Lodge and holiday themed beverages. Visitors can access the perimeter of the field for a close-up view.

The cost is $12 per person in November and $13 per person in December. A portion of the proceeds go toward Timber Rattlers Give Back Inc.

Meet one of our 2025 40 Under 40s: Neo Medina, Advocate at Appleton Area School District and Artist at Someday Studios!

Q: Looking back, what personal experiences or milestones have had the greatest influence on your professional success?

A: One of my favorites has to be the Paint the City project I created. It is such a large-scale community-based project that draws on the leadership of our youth in Appleton. I am honored to have been building a platform to amplify their voices and celebrate our community.
