DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office Issues Active Fraud Warrant for Miami Man

The DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed an active warrant for Jose Alfonso Dejesus of Miami, Florida, in connection with a charge of Scheme to Defraud involving less than $20,000, pursuant to Florida Statute 817.034(4)(a)3.

According to officials, the warrant remains active and will stay in effect until it is served and the individual appears before a judge.

Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding Dejesus’ whereabouts to contact the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office at (863) 993-4700. Tips may also be submitted anonymously through Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.
