First Advisory Board Meeting for the HSU Digital Media Production program today. A BIG thank you to all the alum who came back or joined us virtually and shared their diverse expertise and experience. We can’t wait to share this information with our students as we help them prepare for their careers.

Some had to return to work, but a few got to revisit their old home in the production studio. Memories!

Today is the big day. Giving Day 2025 is here and we hope you'll consider giving back to the program.

This year, donations will go towards funding the refurbishment of the computer lab in Arkansas Hall. Most of you have memories of the lab and how much time students spend there. We're hoping to create an entirely new space for current and future students with comfortable, modern workstations. In addition, funds will also replace all of the old desks in lecture rooms with table seating for better comfort.

Do you know someone age 14-18 that's interested in filmmaking? Registration is now open for HSU DMD's summer filmmaking camp. Campers will stay on campus in Arkadelphia June 17-21 and work in teams to create a short film from concept to screening. The camp also includes intensive workshops with guest artists on acting for film and cinematic makeup effects. For more information and registration, visit tinyurl.com/hsufilmcamp
