Stunned. I had the privilege of filming the GBA podcasts and Steve was such a joy to work with. Very easy going and light hearted. He will be missed.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our friend, Steve Bell. 🕊️

We had the opportunity to work with Steve on the Girl Boss Assembly podcast as part of the Listen Hagerstown/ Frederick podcast network, a project that grew out of the small business conference we hosted in downtown Hagerstown in 2024.

After the conference we went on to interview notable Washington County leaders, continuing the conversations about leadership, community, and impact. Steve was influential in helping us bring our vision to life and to the airwaves. 💕

Steve was truly one of a kind—talented, passionate, thoughtful, and genuine. Beyond the work, we shared many meaningful conversations about our careers, life, and everything in between. Those moments will always stay with us.

Our hearts are heavy knowing he’s gone far too soon. Steve will always be an honorary Girl Boss, and we cherish the short but meaningful time we were able to spend with him.

Rest peacefully, Steve. You will be deeply missed. 🤍

Really proud of this project! Seth Holmes was a rock star on set, per usual. Joey Freeman did an amazing job writing the script and giving a solid performance. I put about 60 hours into the edit. Joey performed the script in 4 different locations in the theatre, and in multiple takes. I think we did a good job finding the best moments of his performance.

This project sparked a little filmmaking flame that has been quite dim since my film school days. 2026 holds a lot of potential.
