✨ Hip stretches for figure skaters! ✨
Stretch those hips! For better turns, jumps, and spins. They tend to get tight in figure skaters, resulting in tightness, pain, weakness, instability, & more.
⛸️ Hip flexor stretch - Start in a push up position then place your foot next to your hand. Drop to your forearms for a deeper stretch.
⛸️ Pigeon pose - Bend your front knee (90 degrees advanced, 45 degrees or less beginner). Lower the upper body to feel a stretch, drop to the forearms for a deeper stretch.
