Fresh blueberry and goat cheese panna cotta. We had an unbelievably delicious experience at Echelon Wine Bar last night. Everything was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. We joked that Chef Landon was the king of the sauce because every accompaniment to his dishes captured International flavors that we’ve only experienced in Spain and Greece. Every one of our tapas dishes were licked clean. We loved everything, but if we had to pick a few of our favorites, they were the Pulpo (we ended up ordering 2!), the lamb chops, the rock fish, and the merlot soaked cherries. The Pulpo oh my goodness. We may need to order again tonight. 😅😅
Worth the drive! Fresh cherries (you pick) and ice cream for the kids. 🍒 They also serve lunch and some other treats with lots of picnic table seating. Check out their page for hours of operation.
Hooray for Phase 2! 🙌🏻 Enjoying one of the best burgers in Loudoun: the double cheeseburger with bacon and a fried egg from Roots 657.
Enjoying the best sandwich on the patio on a glorious day. 🙌🏻

🍕 PIZZA POP UP! Meet Tarek Kipry: former Sous Chef at Westend Wine Bar Pub. He started a pizza pop up out of his Purcellville home. His pizza lineup varies each week, but we can assure you that you won’t be disappointed. This is a guy who will forage for ramps to put a creative twist on his pie. *Cost is donation based. Our family of 5 crushed two pies within 7 minutes of pulling out of his driveway so we recommend ordering up. Next pop up will be this weekend.
Vince Carbone, owner of Ashburn Subway, is well known for giving back to the local schools and sports programs for 18+ years. Now his calling has shifted and he has created a movement to bring the Loudoun community together during the pandemic.

Ken heads up both Modern Filmworks and Digital Spoon right here in Loudoun, focusing on helping brands and businesses grow through video content and digital marketing. After spending the bulk of his filmmaking years in Los Angeles, and tired of the rat race called L.A., he picked up and moved to rural Virginia for a change of pace. He thought he would “try it out” for a year....that was 17 years ago. Ken has three grown children and currently resides in Purcellville. He loves the outdoors and spends as much time as possible on his boat on the Chesapeake Bay.
