The final regional competition of the 2026 season is officially complete, and preparations for the ACHF National Championships are wrapping up!

Today is the FINAL DAY to submit all Nationals registrations.

If you are not registering through a team director and need to register a solo or duo for this year’s event, please contact us today to finalize and submit your entry.

All solos and duos must be preregistered. There will be no registration available at the door.

📣 Nationals Registration is wrapping up!

Directors, please check the Directors Portal for the latest registration information and be finalizing your team’s entries for the 2026 ACHF National Championships.

Carefully review your dancers, routines, categories, solos, and duo/duet entries before submitting. All dancers attending with a team must register through their director.

Independent dancers who are not part of a team should email [email protected] by this Friday if they need to register for solo or duo/duet competition.

Remember that all freestyle solos, short duo/duets, and acapella duo/duets require advance registration. Pre-registration helps us keep entry costs down while also allowing us to prepare a more accurate weekend schedule of events for everyone attending Nationals.

To help keep communication clear and organized, we kindly ask dancers and families who are part of a team to direct their questions to their team director first. Directors can then contact ACHF on behalf of their group with any questions they are unable to answer.

We appreciate everyone’s help and can’t wait to see you in Hickory!

🎓 The 2026 ACHF Academic Scholarship Application is now live online!

Current high school seniors and full-time college, university, community college, or technical school students that meet eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply.

Applications and all required supporting documentation must be received by October 7, 2026.

Recipients must be present to be recognized at the National Championships on October 17th.

This year’s collection includes:

• Comfort Colors long-sleeve T-shirts - $24
• Gildan 50/50 crewneck sweatshirts - $28
• New ACHF Gildan 50/50 sweatpants - $25
• Official Nationals program books - $20
• Program advertising opportunities ($35-$50)

Clothing and program book orders must be placed by September 23.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION REMINDER

Preregistration is required for all solo and duo categories. Requiring advance registration helps us plan the event accurately and keep entry fees as low as possible for our dancers and families.

This includes freestyle solos, short duo/duets, and acapella duo/duets, choreographed solos, contemporary/traditional/show duo/duets. Registration for these categories must be submitted by Sunday, September 20.

This Saturday, our 2024 and 2025 ACHF Opry Solo Award winners will take the stage at the Grand Ole Opry!

More than 25 years ago, the Opry Solo Award was named specifically to give its winners the opportunity to perform on this legendary stage. Since then, earning this honor has become a treasured part of ACHF and something our competitors look forward to working toward each season.

We are incredibly grateful to the Grand Ole Opry and the Opry Square Dancers for continuing to extend this special opportunity to our dancers year after year.
