My co-producer Lisa and I are having an incredible weekend at the Convening!

This is truly one of the most unique spaces to grow, connect, and learn alongside fellow documentary filmmakers.

Unlike many film festivals where the focus is on screenings and celebrity sightings, this weekend is all about EXPANSION—of ideas, collaborations, and purpose.

In just 24 hours, we’ve dove deep into film festival strategy, impact partnerships, creative collaborations, and distribution pathways.

And the best part? We’re surrounded by some of the most inspiring and engaged filmmakers from across the Southeast.

I’ve already met future collaborators, and I can’t wait to see where these conversations lead.

"Carolina Resource Center for Eating Disorders (CRC for ED) is the only nonprofit in North Carolina providing education, resources, and support to individuals, families, and professionals concerned with disordered eating and recovery from eating disorders."

What an insightful and inspiring day to see the importance of the CRC for ED and how they are dedicated to saving lives both regionally and nationally!

Thanks Craig for the opportunity to collaborate with you on this powerful project.

In "Woven" clothing becomes a tapestry of cultural identity, self-expression, and environmental stewardship. Follow a North Carolina textile artist on a global journey to unveil the hidden tales woven into fabric, shedding light on undervalued artisans and the solutions they hold for urgently needed social and environmental change.

We're thrilled to host Karina, who is driving up from South Carolina to screen her acclaimed documentary, now available on Amazon. With over 6 years of filming and another 4-6 years raising $1.5 million for post-production, Karina has created a powerful documentary that can open minds, soften hearts, and change lives.
