Nothing lifts my spirits quite like dressing up and running around with friends, old and new.
If that sounds like fun to you too, come join us! We’re getting together next weekend at Mountain Run Winery mountainrunwinery for a weekend of LARP archery, shieldwall and skirmishing, where you can learn how to fight from kind, experienced folks. In the evenings, I will be leading medieval and English Country Dance for all to enjoy, and doubtlessly, the weekend will also bring silly shenanigans.
On the property at the same time is the Virginia Mead Festival, where you can enjoy meads from nine different meaderies!

This was born out of folks wanting to get together more than once a year since we missed time with our ranger friends so darn much, and brush up on combat for an event many of us attend, The Weekend Warrior Experience. It’s a campout, a hangout and a space for community and camaraderie. I can’t wait to make new treasured memories with you all soon!
