Wait Until You See What Was Taped Up at the End!!

This Goodwill aisle had a little bit of everything — lamps, décor, adult diapers… and then I spotted a box with two vintage West German cuckoo clocks for $20. 😳

The only problem? The box was taped up like Fort Knox, so there was no telling whether they were complete, working, or hiding a pile of loose parts.

Would you have taken the $20 gamble?

Pretty glassware, colorful dishes, random décor…and then we arrive at the shoe department, where apparently $9.99 is the answer no matter what the shoe looks like or how dirty it is. 😂

Clean, scuffed, worn, questionable—you name it, $9.99!

Vinted sellers: Selecting USPS-only may NOT mean USPS-only! 😳

Some of you seasoned Vinted sellers may already know this, but it was definitely news to me!

My settings are USPS only, but Vinted still allowed a buyer to select FedEx on a very small sale!

This is in their “fine print”.

Since I don’t have a convenient FedEx location where I can get an acceptance receipt, I had to cancel the order.

If you only ship with certain carriers, it might be worth adding that clearly to your listings so buyers know before checkout.

I am now adding the following to my Vinted listings: “Please select USPS at checkout. I’m unable to ship via FedEx, UPS, or other carriers.”

At least there was one bright spot — since FedEx wasn’t an option I had turned on, Vinted says I shouldn’t get negative feedback for having to cancel the sale.

Our Walmart rarely has great clearance, so finding these Athletic Works tops marked down from $7.98 to just $1 was a pretty nice surprise—and yes, I stocked up.

They may not be huge-profit items individually, but when you can list multiples efficiently, those smaller sales do add up!

Just passing it along in case your Walmart is doing some serious markdowns too.

One fresh Goodwill cart and somehow we went from an elaborate crocheted dress on a vintage doll…to a tooled leather saddle… to colorful glassware and a shadow box cabinet full of tiny treasures!

This is exactly why I always have to look when a new cart rolls out—you truly never know what they’ve piled on there.

Two tags, two different prices from two different eras of time, one very patient pair of pantyhose still waiting for somebody to take them home!

It’s always kind of interesting when an old price tag accidentally becomes part of the history of an item — sometimes it’s almost as interesting as the item itself!

There were definitely a few pieces on this Goodwill glassware shelf that made me stop and take a look!

Then I checked the price tags and suddenly they weren’t quite as charming. 😂

Cute is cute, but the numbers still have to make sense when you’re buying to resell.

Some of those items were definitely nice—but would YOU pay Goodwill’s price for it, or is it staying right on that shelf?

I picked up this 8-piece set of Queen cookware by Amway at that estate sale over the weekend for just $2.

I found an eBay comp of over $100 and it was only a 5-piece set, so I’d say that was two dollars pretty well spent. 😊

I hit such a fun estate sale recently where everything was priced like it was 1992 again! 😄

This old primitive solid wood tailor’s pressing block was just two bucks, and I swear my hand moved faster than my brain when I saw it.

It’s one of those finds that makes you appreciate the craftsmanship and the thrill of the hunt.

Now my debate is whether to sell it or keep it!

What’s one type of item you’ve grabbed so fast at a sale that you didn’t even stop to think—just pure instinct, whether for resale or for your own collection?
