Come on now Toni..... 😒

So… singer Toni Braxton showed up to her son Diezel’s graduation from Howard University and let’s just say—she wasn’t trying to blend in. Toni pulled up in a full black lace fit, sheer skirt and all, hat with a veil like she was heading to the Met Gala instead of a college commencement. Now look, I respect the fashion icon she is, but ma’am… this was your son’s big day, not a red carpet rollout.

Some folks on social media were like “I wish my mama would,” and honestly, I felt that. Ain’t nothing wrong with dressing up, but there’s a time and place—and this had folks wondering if they were at graduation or a high-fashion runway show.

Even with all the side-eye, she was still a proud mama. She posted a heartfelt video of Diezel getting ready to walk across that stage and gave him his flowers, which is beautiful. Big shoutout to Diezel too—graduating from Howard and headed to the British American Drama Academy? That’s major!

But yeah… Toni, you definitely gave the people something to talk about. What y’all think—was she doin’ too much or just being Toni?
