It was my journey from New York City to Atlanta that transformed me into a writer and entrepreneur. My debut novel, “Just My Imagination,” released in 2020 during the pandemic, explores the theme of choices and their impact on our lives, emphasizing the possibility of redemption and returning to one’s true self. Following my entry into the literary world through another medium with the release of

“Father, May I: Collection II” in 2022. This poetry novel delves into personal messages and reflections, offering readers a deeper connection through emotional expression. Beyond my own creative pursuits, my entrepreneurial spirit led me to establish Lilac Sky Publishing, LLC, a platform dedicated to collaborating with artists who have a creative gift to share. I then expanded into merchandise with the launch of the “Shh, I’m Writing” line of journals in 2023, catering to fellow writers and creatives. It's my hope that my life story and work will resonate with those who hear it, wanting it to be a testament to the power of embracing one’s creativity and passion and sharing it with beautiful minds like you.

Son is a Black fugitive who embodies everything she loathes and desires. As Morrison follows their affair, which plays out from the Caribbean to Manhattan and the deep South, she charts all the nuances of obligation and betrayal between Blacks and whites, masters and servants, and men and women.
