Hello there👋🏾 Happy New Month!
Tomorrow is the big day—my child is starting elementary school and taking the school bus for the very first time. As a parent, I’m feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. It’s a proud moment, but also a little overwhelming to realize how quickly he’s growing up.

I will double-check the backpack, pack the lunch or snacks later, and remind him how brave and smart he is. But let’s be real—I’m the one who’s going to be holding back tears at the bus stop.

To all the other parents going through this first-time experience too, I see you. It’s okay to feel a little emotional. We’re not just raising kids—we’re raising future leaders. 💛🚌

Throwback Thursday to when I visited the Atlanta Zoo while pregnant with my sweet girl. 🤰🏽✨ It feels like just yesterday I was walking around with her bump, dreaming of the day we’d share moments like this. And now, almost 4 years later, she will be running around the zoo, full of energy and curiosity! 🦁🐒💚

It’s amazing how time flies. Today, we’re on our way back to the zoo, to make new memories with my little one who’s growing up way too fast. Can’t wait to see her face light up as she explores all her favorite animals today! 🐯👶🌿
