After 23 years as band director of the North Carolina A&T State University Blue & Gold Marching Machine, Dr. Kenneth G. Ruff will retire in June 2026.

We recently premiered The HBCU Band Experience w/ Dr. Christy Walker interview with Dr. Ruff, where he highlighted how the HBCU band has made him everything that he is, and how he did not want to be forgotten…that’s Impossible!
