Following the previous post about reintroducing ourselves to our lovely audience - those who are new and newer - here’s another bio from The Tea Room.

Misti Simmons | Co-host
As Southern as sweet tea, brewed with extra sass. Opinionated, strong-willed, and the joker of my friendship pack, I’m also an avid reader with an impressive book collection (averaging 1000 or so books). Not to mention my not-so-small (platonic) crush on fellow Georgian, Karin Slaughter – she’s my fave author. When not reading, I love to be outdoors in nature, especially falling asleep under the moon and stars. But what I most prefer is to be here, on The Tea Room podcast, dishing the dirt while putting the world to rights.

PROS: Onesie advocate.
CONS: Drinks pickle juice (and enjoys it!) by choice.

“I’m not saying I’m a U-Haul le***an, but the truck is already packed.”

Since we decided that the needed a fresh coat of paint, a new lippy, and a little polishing, we thought it might be a good idea to give our podcast bios a revamp too. Reintroduce ourselves, so to speak. Something that ideally goes with this time of year, don’t you think? Cleansing, culling, restoration, and all that good stuff.

Nataliah Tzavrinou | Co-host
If we’re to flourish in today’s weird and wonderful world of exposure, then we must bring our whole selves to the Ikea table. Clothes optional. Well, I do that every fortnight on The Tea Room podcast with my co-host and sister-friend Misti. Admittedly, I sometimes drag Studsby (my lovely wife) and our fur-brat Nemesis along too. They brew the tea while I serve it.

I’m a kaleidoscope of creative pursuits, mostly known as poet, author, and artist (Twelve Seasons, Laundry, SHE, and Soup). When I’m not writing, you can find me exercising my vocal cords in the women’s rights movement. Writing about it. Speaking on it. Marching for it. If you have an aversion to outspoken intersectional feminists, then I’m definitely going to make you feel itchy.

Most importantly, I'm hugely into love. Like, it's an actual thing. If more people practiced love (self-love, community love, environmental love, and the love of humanity) this world would be remarkable. Give it a try. It's some addictive shizzle.

PROS: Unicorn believer.
CONS: Marmite despiser.

“I eat misogynists for breakfast. With a pot of tea, of course.”
