"Me and my daughter just popped to our local Spar in Twydall Gillingham to get some snack food for our film day. As usual my daughter helped me by pushing the trolley, placing our shopping on the counter, packing it in the bag for me and using my bank card to pay as I couldn't reach the card machine, just a normal trip to the shops apart from one thing was different for us today!
We went to leave and a young man in a blue shirt with brown hair stopped us, he spoke to my daughter and asked me if it's ok if he can buy her some sweets for being so helpful and caring, my daughter chose a sweet and he went to pay, he saw another bag of sweets he thought my daughter would like and asked me if she's allowed to have them to. Needless to say that it was hard for me to hold in my tears as I was welling up at how much kindness he had shown us both.
Me and my daughter thanked him but he didn't want to be thanked as he left the store he said 'please don't thank me, if the world had a few more kind people it would be a much better place to live.'
I'm still so shocked at the kindness this man has shown us. Not only did he take his time to stop and see how much my 7-year-old daughter helps me but he also taught her a very valuable lesson, if you're kind to others then others will be kind back!
My daughter helps me in so many ways since I have been in my wheelchair, she is my rock and without her I'd be lost. She keeps me going in my darkest of days with just her smile, she lights up my entire world. I try to give my daughter the best childhood I can and she does have that but things will always be a little different from her friends. My daughter just takes it all in stride. Young carers are amazing children and at times their hard work goes unnoticed. For a member of the public doing his shopping just as we were and to notice my daughters hard work at a simple shopping trip really made her day.

"George's vehicle was having problems when we got to Fontana Dam. The nearest automotive parts store was in Bryson City about 30 miles away. We prayed before we left that we could get back safely and get the part. We got a few miles down the road and it died. We had only been sitting here 15-20 minutes when NC State Trooper Kosal Thach stopped . He asked if he could look at the problem. We had already called several automotive parts stores and no one had the part. He was very familiar with this motor because he had a truck with the same engine. Trooper Thach left us, went home, took the part we needed off of his truck and gave it to us so we could get going. We will send him a new part when we get home. Thank the Lord for answered prayers. Thank the Lord for dedicated Police Officers willing to go above and beyond the normal call of duty."

My 7th grade son, connor, has first school dance. when i realizing clearances had expired just before my son's first school dance. With my son having a terminal illness, every moment is precious. Despite the potential 14-day waiting period, i called and encountered Frank, who displayed incredible kindness and understanding. Frank quickly approved my application, allowing me to chaperone my special needs son to the dance. This experience reminder that there are good people in the world.💛💛

Today I painted a new residents nails at work and as we were going over colors, she mentioned she wanted clear. The only thought that came to my mind was "CLEAR?! That's no fun." I asked her why she wanted clear and she said, "My hands are ugly, I don't want to draw attention to them." I then carefully responded with, "Your hands tell the story of your life. They tell the story of love, of care and adventure. These hands have touched and held things that most people can only wish to one day." And with that, she went with the color pink for her nails.

In Auckland, New Zealand, that Pokemon craze has recently caught on. And one day, two young boys were outside rounding up whatever characters they could from that game. Those boys were Blake Ockleston and Daniel Coyle-Smith.
The 13-year-olds were having a good time playing the game. And then, they spotted an elderly man struggling to cross the street. He was shaking as he stood with his walker, and it was obvious he was unsure of himself.
So Blake and Daniel put away the Pokemon stuff and walked over to the man. As they helped him out into the road, the light changed again. So one of them completely stopped all the traffic so they could get the man safely across the street. They then walked him across another street. But then they did something else.
Once they safely got him to the other side, they walked with him to his destination… the train station. And when they arrived there, one of the boys asked a security guard to stay with the man and help him.
A woman named Lyqueeshah Brooks spotted the boys act of kindness and posted it on Facebook. Says Lyqueeshah: “My heart is so full [right now]. These boys helped this man cross 2 pedestrians in new lynn right now .. shout out to these boys parents. If it wasn’t for them no cars would have waited for this man to cross.”

Last night I got a call from unknown number. I didn’t recognize it so didn't answer. There was a voicemail from an older woman saying she just wanted to show “the two of you how much I appreciate everything you do…but I'll chase you down anyway thank you again honey. “ And so I called her back to let her know I mistakenly got her message. She was so incredibly grateful. She said do you have a minute? Ha. Of course, I said sure! She explained how her young adult grandsons were all in town. She loves fruitcake! They went hunting at several places. Turns out they actually went to FIVE SHOPS before they found her a fruitcake. She was so overwhelmed that these 3 big guys would do this So her message was to thank each one, as she was so overwhelmed this meant so much to them. She said I did my good deed for the day. When actually it was her sweet words and warmth that touched my heart. Marie and I ended up chatting more. I said I had an amazing recipe for fruit cake cookies. She had never heard of such a thing. So I’ll be personally delivering the recipe to her. Then she is digging up a recipe to give me for French Toast Casserole from a lady in her retirement center! Marie, did we just become best friends!? All from just one wrong call...
